“I Don’t Need Seyi Tinubu’s Car or House” – Verydarkman Fires Back at Lege Miami

Nigerian social commentator Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman (VDM), has reignited his ongoing feud with actor and skit maker Lege Miami in a fiery new video. In the same breath, he also addressed Seyi Tinubu, the son of Nigeria’s president.

The clash stems from earlier tensions in March when Lege Miami publicly criticized VDM over his outspokenness about the reported detention of Abubakar Isah, the factional president of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). Lege had accused VDM of trying to drag Seyi Tinubu into the matter for clout.

Responding in his latest video, VDM stood firm on his advocacy for Isah’s release and revealed that his activism might be yielding results. According to him, Seyi Tinubu contacted Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose, and promised that the case would be reviewed.

“Seyi Tinubu contacted Isaac Fayose and said the issue of Abubakar Isah will be looked into. Hopefully, he’ll be released soon,” VDM said.

He didn’t mince words while addressing Lege Miami’s mockery, dismissing accusations of seeking political favors.

“You said I’ve been looking for Seyi. Is he a girl? Why would I be looking for him? I don’t care about knowing politicians in this country. I’m not like you,” he retorted.

VDM further emphasized that his activism isn’t driven by material gain.

“What will Seyi Tinubu give me? A car? A house? I don’t need any of those things,” he said.

He also expressed frustration over Lege’s behavior, calling it unbecoming of a man with children.

“Once you clock 40, this your foolishness will be permanent and you even have children,” he concluded.
