Meek Mill Distances Himself from Diddy Case, Slams Blogs for “Fake Narratives”

Rapper Meek Mill has publicly spoken out amid the growing legal storm surrounding music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, making it clear he has no connection to the federal investigation or the dropped lawsuit filed by producer Lil Rod.

Meek’s response comes after widespread online speculation linked him to vague references made in the lawsuit — particularly mentions of a Philadelphia rapper who once dated Nicki Minaj. Though Meek’s name was never explicitly stated, the internet was quick to draw conclusions.

Addressing the issue on social media, Meek Mill expressed frustration over what he calls a targeted attempt to tarnish his reputation.

“In the midst of Diddy on federal trial I wanna bring back up ‘Lil Rod’ and his lawsuit that was dropped. He never said my name but these blogs amplified that whole agenda against me. My culture don’t believe it but it’s an attack on my brand,” he wrote.

The “Dreams and Nightmares” rapper also criticized the media for spreading misinformation, accusing blogs of running with unfounded claims that damage his public image.

In a further statement, Meek reflected on his own experiences at Diddy’s parties, clarifying that while he observed “coke vibes,” such scenes weren’t unique to Diddy’s events.

“The craziest thing I seen at a Puff party is coke vibes and that’s going on at all these parties… I’m from Norf Philly, I had millions since I was 23! I don’t even wanna be addicted to weed! Not judging but I see it different,” he wrote.

Meek added that during his early days in Los Angeles, he crossed paths with industry veterans like Suge Knight and Big U, emphasizing that he was more focused on promoting Black excellence and success than partying.

His comments arrive as Diddy faces intense scrutiny and legal pressure from multiple lawsuits and a federal probe, with the hip-hop world watching closely. While Meek Mill has firmly denied any involvement, his response highlights the ripple effect Diddy’s case is having across the industry, even touching those not directly named.
