Adeola, Actress Jumoke George’s Missing Daughter, Opens Up About Her Ordeal in Mali

Adeola, the daughter of veteran Nollywood actress Jumoke George, who was recently declared missing, has finally broken her silence, and her words are both heartbreaking and reflective.
In a deeply emotional video interview, Adeola recounted her harrowing experience in Mali, revealing the intense hardship, fear, and hopelessness she endured while stranded in the West African country.
Fighting back tears, she appealed to all mothers, especially her own, saying, “Please forgive me. I’m not a bad child.” She said watching her mother’s earlier emotional plea for her return shattered her completely.
Adeola explained that despite making efforts to survive, she couldn’t raise enough money to sustain herself, let alone fund her return to Nigeria. “I lost hope. I thought I would die there,” she confessed.
She also expressed worry for the many Nigerians who remain stuck in similar or even worse conditions in Mali, promising that if she ever finds herself in a position to help, she would not hesitate.
