Nollywood Star Addresses Rumour Linking Her to MC Oluomo

Nollywood actress and serial entrepreneur Aisha Lawal has come forward to deny viral claims linking her to a car gift allegedly received from MC Oluomo, the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
The controversy began after a video surfaced online showing NURTW chieftain Baba Bistijabah alleging that MC Oluomo took a Venza from him and handed it over to the actress.
But in a recent interview on the Talk to B Show, Aisha Lawal dismissed the accusation as false and disrespectful.
“I did not collect any car from him. I have never even driven a Venza in my life,” she stated firmly.
The actress, who is also a thriving businesswoman, made it clear that her financial success is the result of hard work, not favours.
“COVID-19 period was my turning point. During COVID, I made N10 million in a week,” she revealed, highlighting a significant moment in her entrepreneurial journey.
While she expressed admiration and respect for MC Oluomo, she condemned the attempt to drag her name into unfounded claims.
“Common, you have to add some respect to my name because I suffered before I made money,” Aisha said, visibly displeased by the rumours.
She also clarified that she currently drives a Lexus GX 460, not a Venza, and urged the public to be more cautious before sharing unverified information.
“People should stop peddling lies. I worked hard for everything I own.”
The actress’s response has since drawn praise from fans and fellow entertainers, many of whom applauded her for standing up for herself and speaking her truth.
