In a touching and unfiltered post shared via her Instagram story, Tonto reflected on turning 40, revealing that she has never felt this kind of happiness before. Contrary to common sentiments about aging, the actress boldly declared that she loves being old.

“Never been this happy. I think I love being old. Lord, thank you for good health, life and your unmerited favour. 40 for 40,” she wrote, counting her blessings.

The mother of one, who was formerly married to businessman Olakunle Churchill, described her 40th birthday as a season of divine joy and gratitude. She gave credit to her faith for sustaining her through life’s many phases — from motherhood to fame, and even public controversies.

Just days before her birthday, Tonto had teased her followers with a glimpse of the jaw-dropping gifts she had already received. The star revealed she was gifted not one but two cars, over $290,000 in cash, 15 goats, two Keke Napeps (commercial tricycles), two stubborn cows, and an array of high-end perfumes, designer handbags, luxury shoes, and more.

For Tonto, this season of abundance isn’t a coincidence — it’s the fruit of a mindset transformation. She attributed her joy and success to a conscious decision to cut off negativity and fully own her growth.

“I stopped playing small,” she hinted in an earlier post, suggesting that her current glow-up is rooted in choosing peace and being intentional about her personal evolution.
