Ryan Taylor Reacts Fiercely as Nigerians Drag Him Over DJ Cuppy Shade
British boxer and content creator, Ryan Taylor, has responded to Nigerians dragging him over a recent comment he made about his ex-fiancée, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy.
The backlash started after Taylor shared a photo of himself with his newborn daughter on Instagram. A fan, reacting to the picture, left a comment stating: “She come resemble Cuppy.”
In what many considered an unnecessary jab, Ryan replied:
“Cuppy wasn’t enough of a woman to create someone as beautiful as my child.”
The comment sparked outrage among Nigerian social media users who swiftly took to his page, accusing him of being disrespectful and bitter toward the billionaire heiress.
Reacting to the backlash, Taylor took to his Instagram story to clarify his stance, defending his family and asking Nigerians to calm down.
“Today is a special day. Nigerians gotta chill out. You come for the mother of my child and think I won’t back it? Don’t come on my page talking shit and cry when I speak.”
He further noted that people shouldn’t expect him to remain silent when his family is involved, adding that he never signed a “contract” to be silent.
“I NEVER signed the Contract. I will always say what I want and do what is right for me or my family. I haven’t said shit yet, everyone gotta chill.”
Although DJ Cuppy has yet to publicly respond to the drama, many of her fans have stood up in her defense, urging Taylor to keep her name out of conversations involving his current family.
