Davido Opens Up About Chioma’s Role in Making ‘5IVE’

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has offered a rare glimpse into the creative process behind his latest album 5IVE, crediting his wife, Chioma Rowland Adeleke, as a major source of inspiration.
Speaking during a recent podcast appearance, the singer spoke glowingly about Chioma’s unwavering support during the recording phase of the album. According to Davido, she was physically present throughout much of the production and played a key emotional role that helped shape the project.
“She gave me the energy and the love I needed to work,” Davido said, visibly moved. He went on to reveal that Chioma’s current favourite track on the album is ‘10 Kilo’ — one of the standout songs from the project.
