Davido Hails ‘Dancing Governor’ Uncle as Osun’s Best Yet
Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has openly praised his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, for his remarkable performance as the leader of Osun State.
Speaking during an appearance on the Culture Knock Out (C.K.O) show hosted by Chris and Baloo, Davido described Adeleke as the most effective governor the state has ever had. He addressed the skepticism that once surrounded his uncle’s leadership style due to his fun-loving personality and love for dancing.
According to Davido, many underestimated Governor Adeleke because of his energetic public appearances and viral dance clips, but his record in office has proven the doubters wrong.

“My uncle, the Dancing Governor, is good vibes. He has an amazing story—he’s the last born of my dad’s family. They never believed that he would become a governor,” Davido said.
He continued, “He is a real example of, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover.’ Just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time doesn’t mean when it’s time to work, he won’t. Now, he’s been the best governor they’ve ever had.”
