What Davido Said About Lagos Nightlife That Got People Talking

Afrobeats star Davido is once again trending, this time for sharing his thoughts about Lagos nightlife — and his comments have sparked mixed reactions online.

During a recent chat on the Culture Knock Out (CKO) show, Davido was asked about interesting places to visit in Nigeria. He didn’t hesitate to spotlight Lagos, saying the city offers one of the most exciting nightlife scenes on the planet.

“There are so many interesting things to do in Lagos. We have amazing nightlife. I feel like we have the best nightlife in the world,” he said.

He even invited the hosts to visit his home in Lagos, promising they’d enjoy good food and great fun.

As expected, his statement stirred up reactions. While some fans applauded him for promoting Nigeria positively, others called it a form of “damage control” following criticisms he received for previous comments that many believed painted the country in a bad light.
