After the Blow: Godwin Nnadiekwe’s Team Speaks Out
The management of fast-rising Nollywood actor Godwin Nnadiekwe has broken its silence with an update on his health after an on-set clash involving fellow actor Zubby Michael.
Earlier reports revealed that Godwin was hospitalized following a physical hit during a movie shoot. Now, in a newly released statement, his team confirms that the impact may have aggravated a previous chest injury the actor suffered in late 2023.
“On December 22, 2023, Godwin sustained a severe chest injury in a gym accident involving a fallen weight. He spent nearly two months recovering,” the statement noted.
The management highlighted that what happened on set brought back serious health complications from that earlier injury, underlining how unseen wounds can sometimes resurface unexpectedly.
They used the opportunity to urge the public and the entertainment industry to show more sensitivity.
“Everyone is fighting a battle we know nothing about. Our actions, even when unintentional, can cause harm.”
They ended the note by requesting continued prayers and support from fans as the actor recovers quietly.
As of now, Zubby Michael has yet to issue any statement on the incident.
