Angela Okorie Exposes Alleged Setup by Regina Daniels, Denies Husband Rumour
The fiery exchange between Nollywood actresses Angela Okorie and Regina Daniels has escalated yet again, with Angela delivering a stinging comeback after Regina accused her of once pursuing her husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.
In a new video making the rounds on social media, Angela Okorie firmly denied the allegation, mocking Regina’s claim and making it clear she would never be interested in someone like Nwoko.
“God forbid, I don’t do ancestors,” she said in the video, accompanied by a sarcastic caption that read:
“Little girl, you need your head examined. God forbid! I reject you and that your ancestor in Jesus’ name, Amen. Tell MJ to come out and debunk what I said about her.”
Angela went on to explain her side of the story, recounting a visit to Regina and Ned’s home in Abuja. According to her, Regina had invited her over, and during the visit, Ned Nwoko asked her to feature Regina in one of her upcoming movies. Angela said she agreed, and as she was leaving, Nwoko handed her ₦500,000 as a goodwill gesture.
However, Angela claimed that not long after the meeting, she discovered she had been blocked. She now believes Regina must have spoken ill of her to her husband, leading to the fallout.
“Regina is known for badmouthing people to her husband,” Angela alleged. “That’s probably what happened after I left.”

This latest spat began after Angela Okorie criticized Mercy Johnson during an Instagram Live session, claiming the actress is battling a serious illness and urging her to seek forgiveness from those she had allegedly wronged. Regina Daniels, who shares a close bond with Mercy, responded by attacking Angela and accusing her of chasing her husband in the past.
Angela’s fierce denial and sharp words have added more fuel to the already explosive online drama, with fans of both actresses watching closely for the next move in what’s become one of Nollywood’s most talked-about feuds.
