Davido Blasts Nollywood Actress Over Chioma Comment—’You No Get Sense!’

Afrobeats heavyweight Davido is not here for subtle jabs or name-dropping his wife for clout, and he made that crystal clear in a fiery clapback aimed at Nollywood actress Sarah Martins.

The drama kicked off when Sarah Martins took to social media to weigh in on Davido’s new culinary-themed venture, The 5IVE Kitchen. She suggested that if the business had been named after Chioma, Davido’s wife and well-known culinary enthusiast, it would have made more sense, calling it a more “fitting tribute” to her cooking skills.

But Davido wasn’t having it.

In a direct response on Instagram, the ‘Unavailable’ singer set the record straight, revealing that The 5IVE Kitchen isn’t a standalone restaurant but part of a promotional collaboration with the FoodCourt app tied to his recent album, 5IVE.

“U no get sense. No restaurant was opened, that was a promotional campaign with @foodcourt_app for my album 5️⃣… now take my wife’s picture off page,” Davido snapped, making his displeasure unmistakably known.
