Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has sent social media into a frenzy after revealing that Afrobeats megastar Davido called him unexpectedly, following not one, but two dreams about him.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, Odumodublvck shared the unusual encounter in his signature dramatic style, suggesting that the divine had a hand in the phone call.

“DAVIDO CALLED ME THAT HE DREAMT ABOUT ME TWICE. HE HAD TO CALL ME THAT WE SHOULD RECORD GROOVING GROOVING ASAP,” he tweeted.
“IT’S A HIT ON ARRIVAL. GOD WOKE HIM UP HIMSELF. SAY ‘DAVID!! RISE!! ATTEND TO THAT BOY NOW! FOR THE MACHINE IS COMING.’”

According to the rapper, Davido didn’t just call for a chat, he insisted they hit the studio immediately to create what Odumodublvck is already calling a guaranteed hit for Davido’s upcoming album.

In his usual bold style, Odumodublvck declared that once the final version of the track is done, he would send it first to the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, before anyone else.

“WHEN THE FINAL VERSION IS READY, I WILL SEND IT TO HIS EXCELLENCY (NYESOM WIKE) FIRST. FOR WHAT YOU HEAR NOW IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG.”
