Harry Kane found the net as the newly crowned Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich, secured a victory over Borussia Monchengladbach in a match that also marked Thomas Muller’s final home appearance for the club.

The opening goal came in the 31st minute when Michael Olise cut inside and directed a shot towards the top corner, which Kane expertly headed in, marking his 25th Bundesliga goal of the season. Olise sealed the win in the 90th minute with a skillful flick into the bottom corner from a pass by Leroy Sane.

Kane returned to Bayern’s starting lineup after a one-game suspension and once again demonstrated his value to the team that successfully reclaimed the league title.

Bayern’s goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, was also back in action after a two-month absence due to a calf injury, making a crucial early save to deny Robin Hack’s low shot. Bayern pressed forward, with Kingsley Coman heading wide and a low shot from Sane being saved. Neuer later made another key save against Tomas Cvancara.

The match was also significant as it was Thomas Muller’s 750th appearance for Bayern before his departure this summer. He was honored before the game but couldn’t score despite several attempts. Muller was substituted in the 84th minute to a standing ovation from the Allianz Arena crowd and a guard of honor from his teammates.

Vincent Kompany’s Monchengladbach will conclude their season next Saturday away at Hoffenheim.
