Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda says that while fame may look glamorous, it often feels more like a gilded cage. In a recent vlog interview with Channel Tweety7, the “Cash App” hitmaker, who shot to stardom at just 25, revealed how the pressures of celebrity life have replaced his carefree days.

“I only really enjoy being famous in small doses,” Bella admitted. “Before I blew up, I could hang out with friends and do what I wanted. Now, it’s like I’m in a box, there’s no freedom.”

Beyond the constraints of public scrutiny, the singer also shared the weight of becoming his family’s primary provider. “I’m the main breadwinner,” he said. “That responsibility brings a lot of stress. If the money doesn’t flow, I’m in big trouble.”

Still, Bella Shmurda says he’s always known he was on a path to success. “There was this deep conviction inside me: if you’re meant to make it, you’ll feel it and you won’t stop working toward it,” he explained.

His candid remarks offer a rare glimpse into the unseen challenges behind the glitzy façade of fame.
