JAMB Releases 2025 UTME Resit Results, Exposes Shocking Exam Scandals

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2025 rescheduled UTME for candidates affected by exam centre disruptions. The announcement was made via JAMB’s verified X handle (@JAMBHQ), where candidates were instructed to check their results by texting “UTMERESULT” in capital letters to either 55019 or 66019, using the same number used to generate their profile code during registration.
According to an attached statement titled “Release of the Result of the 2025 UTME Resit Examination and Other Related Matters,” the resit was conducted for candidates who experienced technical or administrative issues during the initial exam. The board also disclosed that the process uncovered disturbing patterns of malpractice involving some candidates, school proprietors, and CBT centre operators.
