Jurors Disturbed as Explicit Videos Shown in Diddy’s Sex-Trafficking Trial

Jurors in the ongoing federal sex-trafficking and racketeering trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs were visibly shaken on Monday, June 16, as prosecutors presented video evidence of the infamous “Freak Offs” central to the case.

According to Mail Online, the footage—only shown to jurors on a prosecution laptop with headphones—sparked discomfort and emotional reactions inside the New York courtroom. One Black female juror reportedly furrowed her brows and winced during the screening of a 20- to 30-second excerpt, while another appeared visibly distressed, shifting uneasily in her seat and holding her head.

The full versions of the three videos span 11 minutes, 11 minutes, and 39 minutes respectively, though only short segments were played to the jury. Faint music and groaning were heard in the courtroom, underscoring the nature of the content.

Prosecutors allege that the videos were filmed in October 2012 at the Trump International Hotel in New York City and feature Diddy’s former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, engaged in a sexual encounter with two male escorts, identified in court documents as “The Punisher” and “Dave.”

Previously, jurors had been shown still images from these encounters as part of the mounting evidence against Combs. The defense and Ventura’s legal team both requested that the explicit footage be kept from the public, a position supported by presiding Judge Arun Subramanian, who emphasized the need to maintain the privacy of those involved.

Monday’s proceedings also saw another shakeup in the jury box. Judge Subramanian dismissed a juror after inconsistencies were found in his residence details, raising concerns about his motives for serving on the jury. A 57-year-old accountant from Westchester County has since been sworn in as his replacement.

Diddy, who has denied all charges against him, is facing a growing list of allegations from multiple women claiming they were lured, coerced, or forced into sexual acts as part of a broader pattern of abuse and exploitation masked by his celebrity and wealth.

The trial, now in its fourth week, continues with more witnesses and potentially more explicit evidence expected in the days ahead.
