Justin Bieber Addresses Viral Speculations Amid Diddy’s Legal Troubles

Pop star Justin Bieber has publicly denied being a victim of Sean “Diddy” Combs amid the music mogul’s ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering trial.

Speculation linking Bieber to Diddy resurfaced after a controversial old video went viral, showing the then-teen singer spending a weekend with Combs. In the clip, Diddy claimed he had “custody” of Bieber for 48 hours—a statement many online users described as unsettling.

Amid growing online concern and backlash, a spokesperson for Bieber told TMZ on Thursday that the singer was never abused by Diddy and should not be considered one of his victims.

“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve,” the statement read.

Sources close to Bieber emphasized that the singer’s relationship with Combs was “performative” and that he was closer to Diddy’s sons than the mogul himself. However, the resurfaced footage has continued to fuel widespread criticism, with many calling it “disturbing” and “creepy.”

Following Diddy’s recent arrest and mounting allegations, sources say Bieber has been deeply unsettled and regrets collaborating with Combs on the 2023 project The Love Album: Off the Grid. An insider revealed that Bieber would have never taken part had he known the extent of the allegations.
