A young woman is counting her losses and counting her blessings after narrowly escaping harm when her iPhone exploded while charging.

In a video shared on social media, the visibly shaken lady displayed what was left of the phone — a charred and shattered device, reduced to ruins within seconds.

“I was just charging it like I normally do,” she said, holding back emotion. “Then suddenly, it exploded.”

The cause of the explosion remains unclear, but the dramatic footage quickly drew widespread attention online, with netizens offering sympathy, warnings, and wild theories.

Some observers blamed faulty charging accessories, while others speculated that the presence of her ATM card in the phone case may have worsened the incident.
