Lil Kesh Gets Real About Love, Divorce, and Why He’s Not Ready for Marriage

Nigerian rapper and former YBNL signee, Lil Kesh, has opened up about his decision to stay single and delay marriage, saying he doesn’t believe in the institution at least not for now.
In a recent interview, the “Efejoku” hitmaker got candid about his views on relationships, admitting that the rising rate of failed marriages and emotional disconnects among couples have influenced his stance.
“I don’t believe in marriages, they don’t work. Have you seen the rate of divorces? I’ve seen a lot of unhappy marriages,” Lil Kesh said. “I want a happy home and I don’t feel I can give that yet.”

He also reflected on his past relationship, revealing that walking away was a deliberate step towards self-growth.
“It was intentional in the first place, because I figured out I could do better on my own. As far as my career and everything that was a priority to me at that time,” he explained.
Currently single, the rapper noted that he is more focused on personal development and building a stable future before venturing into serious commitment.
