Mohbad’s Sister-in-Law Breaks Down: ‘I’m Innocent—Stop the Death Threats!’

Karimot, the sister-in-law of the late singer Mohbad and sister to Wunmi, has publicly denied any involvement in his tragic death, pleading with Nigerians to stop accusing her.

Since Mohbad’s passing in 2023, there have been numerous rumors and controversies surrounding the circumstances of his death. Karimot, a nurse working overseas, has been vocal about the situation, consistently denying the allegations aimed at her.

In a recent emotional video, she begged for mercy, revealing that she fears for her life and the wellbeing of her children. She firmly stated that she was not responsible for Mohbad’s death and insisted she was never the nurse who administered any fatal injections.

Addressing Nigerians directly, Karimot said, “If you kill me, you’ll be committing a wicked act. I have no one else to care for my children. If my husband marries another woman, she might mistreat them. I have no connection to Mohbad’s death. I wasn’t even present at the house when it happened. If I were the nurse or involved in any way, may I die early.”
