Nigerian singer Portable has sparked controversy after demanding ₦10 million to appear on a TikTok live stream hosted by skit maker and content creator Carter Efe.

Reports reveal that Carter Efe initially invited Portable to join one of his live sessions, but the invitation fell apart after Portable insisted on the hefty fee.

Reacting to the demand, Carter Efe publicly mocked Portable, expressing disbelief at the amount, saying, “How much we dey make for the live stream? I just tire.”

In a video response, Portable accused Carter Efe of trying to exploit him just like he allegedly did with his former signee, Young Duu.

Calling Carter a “thief,” Portable claimed Carter failed to support Young Duu after relocating him to Lekki, saying, “You carry am go Lekki, you no give am food chop, buy am car, or clothes. You wan use me? Bring money first!”
