“Pikin nor know book, una dey protest” — Drama at JAMB Office as Angry Parents Pull Up Unannounced

Tension flared at a Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) office as a group of concerned Nigerian parents stormed the premises to protest what they described as unusually low Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results recorded by their children.
This development follows a recent revelation by JAMB that over 70 percent of candidates who registered for the 2024 UTME scored below 200 out of 400, sparking nationwide conversations about the integrity of the exam, candidate preparedness, and the effectiveness of the Nigerian education system.
In a viral video, frustrated parents could be seen demanding a review of the results, insisting their children had previously scored high in mock exams and past UTME attempts.

@Rozam1030 wrote: “You guys should leave JAMB alone and blame your children for not reading their books before the exams.”
@phemidawhiz shared: “The audacity. This Gen Z generation receives too much pampering. Get them private tutors and let them try again. Why protest?”
@BigPeace6 mocked: “Them foolish gon. If it sure for the children, why them no come out to protest?”
@Davey_Mamman noted ironically: “The children wey dem dey fight for dey house dey post ‘school na scam’ for TikTok.”
