Sarah Martins Bows to Davido After DM Clash
Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has issued a heartfelt apology to Nigerian music star Davido after he confronted her in a private message over a false claim she made about him opening a restaurant.
The drama started when Sarah posted online that the Afrobeats singer had launched a restaurant, a claim Davido swiftly shut down in a blunt direct message that later surfaced online.
“WTF is wrong with you? Delete that dumb ass sh*t. Which f**king restaurant did I open? I didn’t open any restaurant. Please delete it now,” Davido reportedly messaged.
In her public response, Sarah admitted she got the information wrong and never meant to offend the singer or his partner, Chioma.
“I’m sorry, Davido. I’m a diehard fan of you and Chioma. I was misinformed by Opeyemi’s post and just jumped to conclusions,” she wrote.
She pleaded for forgiveness, claiming that her admiration for Davido runs deep and that the entire incident stemmed from a place of love, not malice.

“Nobody loves you more than I do. I swear on God. They nearly brought down my page while I was defending you online,” she added.
While some social media users applauded her for owning up and apologizing, others questioned why she posted the initial claim without confirming it first.
