Nigerian actor Linc Edochie has responded to critics dragging him and his new wife following news of his recent remarriage. The actor, who is the elder brother of controversial Nollywood star Yul Edochie, urged Nigerians to focus on the country’s real problems and stop meddling in his personal life.

This comes days after reports surfaced that Linc had remarried, ending his first marriage quietly before tying the knot with a new partner. The development triggered a wave of reactions online, with some commenters drawing parallels between his actions and the controversies surrounding his younger brother, Yul.

In a video shared online, Linc defended his decision, calling on the public to steer clear of his personal affairs:

“My younger brother Yul has been attacked, his ex-wife May too… but let us be. We didn’t create the problems in Nigeria,” he said.

While Linc appeared to take a calm stance, some social media users were not having it. A number of commenters shifted the spotlight to his new wife, alleging that she has been taking subtle jabs at Yul’s ex-wife, May Edochie.
