See What Alex Unusual Said About Religious Fanatics

Reality TV star and media personality Alex Asogwa, popularly known as Alex Unusual, has called out what she described as blind religious fanaticism, particularly among those who overly idolize their pastors.

In a post shared via her Instagram Stories, the former BBNaija housemate expressed her disapproval of people who anchor their prayers on their pastors instead of on God directly. According to her, anyone who prays using the phrase “The God of my pastor” is a “lost soul” and, in her words, can’t reason on the same level with her.

Alex didn’t stop there. She said she finds it baffling when people go as far as using their pastor’s photo as their phone wallpaper, suggesting such actions are extreme and misplaced.

“Once I hear ‘the God of my pastor’, I already know you’re a lost soul,” she wrote.
“If your wallpaper is your pastor, I’m stunned. How are we even going to reason on the same frequency?”
