Nigerian singer Dare Art Alade and his wife, Deola, have shared a terrifying ordeal after their car went up in flames on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.

The incident occurred around 4 p.m., with the couple revealing via Instagram that the vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire. Despite the loss, they expressed deep gratitude that no lives were lost.

“It was a shocking and painful experience, but we’re incredibly grateful that the driver made it out safely. No lives were lost, and that’s what truly matters,” their post read.

Accompanying their message was a video of the burning vehicle and a heartfelt caption that reflected on the impermanence of material possessions.
