See What Happened to VeryDarkMan at GTBank Before EFCC Dragged Him Away!
Controversial online critic Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has shared the shocking details of his recent encounter that led to his arrest and detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
As Read Naija previously reported, VeryDarkMan expressed his appreciation to everyone who voiced their support for him.
According to VeryDarkMan’s account, the ordeal began when he visited a GTBank branch with his mother and a friend to investigate a suspicious loan allegedly taken using his mother’s NIN without her consent. This followed his earlier public criticism of GTBank for unauthorized deductions from his mother’s salary account. He stated that bank staff were initially assisting them.
However, things took a dark turn when a police officer briefly stopped him from leaving the bank – a delay he now believes was orchestrated. Outside, security operatives allegedly blindfolded him and his friend before taking them into custody.
VeryDarkMan revealed that he was transported to an EFCC facility and interrogated on various issues, including his income, assets, and his controversial statements about gospel artist Mercy Chinwo and her label boss, Eezee Tee.

In the caption of his lengthy video, VDM summarized the events, mentioning the GTBank incident, his EFCC arrest, questions about his finances and assets, the initial lack of charges, and the Mercy Chinwo/Eezee Tee and Okoya kids matters.
