Fast-rising Afrobeats artist and comedian Nasboi has launched one of the most creative and determined campaigns in Nigerian music, a 36-state tour where he plans to kneel in each state, pleading with superstar Davido for a collaboration.
The journey kicked off in Osun State, where Nasboi was seen on his knees with a placard in front of the Osun State Government Secretariat, officially starting his heartfelt mission to catch Davido’s attention.
In an emotional Instagram post, Nasboi explained the story behind the campaign:
“In 2019, I started mimicking Davido to get his attention for my music, but the videos blew me up as a comedian… God’s plan.
I am back to plea with 001. Bless me with a verse for this song, king. I will be kneeling across 36 states for 36 days. I pray this dream comes to pass.”
He encouraged his fans to rally behind the effort by tagging Davido daily whenever a new update is shared. The campaign has received massive support, as many admire Nasboi’s mix of humility, creativity, and persistence.
Davido himself responded humorously on social media, writing simply, “set up 😂,” sparking excitement that he might actually grant Nasboi’s heartfelt request.
By day two, Nasboi was spotted kneeling with a new placard in front of the Kano State Government House, showing no signs of slowing down.
The stunt has quickly gone viral, with fans praising Nasboi’s dedication to his craft and his unshakeable spirit in chasing his music dreams.
