See What Peter Obi Gave Portable on a Plane That Got People Talking

Controversial street-hop artist, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has sparked a flurry of reactions online after revealing what transpired when he met Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, aboard a flight.
In a video making rounds on social media, Portable shared that he encountered the former Anambra State governor during a recent trip and was taken aback by the simplicity of the interaction. According to the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner, while he was flying first class, Peter Obi was seated in economy. When he approached the politician to pay his respects, the only thing he received was a handshake.
“The day I see Peter Obi, make I no lie, na handshake I collect. Na first class I dey, Peter Obi dey economy. I go greet Peter Obi, na only handshake e give me. If na Tinubu, I go collect bundle,” Portable lamented in the now-viral clip.

His comments, though made with a touch of humour, have triggered mixed reactions across social media platforms. While some saw it as a light-hearted observation, others interpreted it as a subtle endorsement of Obi’s widely praised frugality and integrity.
A user, @franchid241016, applauded the simplicity, writing: “He just verified all what PO has been preaching since. Thank you Portable for helping me clear my doubt. My support for OBI just tripled.”
Another, @Awoken9ijaYouth, weighed in, saying: “What was the productivity from the handshake that he was expecting bundles? Note that he was already flying first class but was expecting bundles from a man way richer than he was sitting in economy.”
Some, however, poked fun at Portable’s sense of entitlement. @Loadedbrodah quipped: “Na you suppose give am money. Why you no help your boy? You wen dey first class.”
