See What Rivers Police Told Ladies Allegedly Assaulted at Club

The Rivers State Police Command has officially responded to a viral video showing three young women demanding justice after they were allegedly assaulted by a man during a night out at a club in Port Harcourt.
According to earlier reports, the women had gone out to celebrate a friend’s birthday when a confrontation allegedly turned violent. One of the victims reportedly lost a tooth in the altercation, sparking public outrage and calls for justice across social media platforms.
In a statement posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) account on Thursday, June 13, the Rivers Police Command confirmed it is aware of the incident and has initiated a formal inquiry.
“The club manager and the accused individual have been invited for questioning,” the police announced.

The statement also urged the victims seen in the viral clip to come forward to give official statements.
“We call on the ladies in question to present themselves at the police station to assist with the ongoing investigation by providing their accounts,” the command said.
The police reaffirmed their commitment to upholding justice and ensuring that all parties involved are given a fair hearing.
Investigations are ongoing.
