Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator, Nasboi, has shared a disturbing encounter with a police officer who allegedly asked him to transfer money to a SportyBet account.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, Nasboi expressed frustration and disbelief over the incident, which highlights ongoing concerns about police misconduct in Nigeria.

According to Nasboi, he was stopped by officers who requested a monetary “settlement.” When he explained that he did not have any cash on him, one of the officers allegedly asked him to make a bank transfer to his SportyBet account instead.

“The hell is wrong with Nigeria police? What? I no get cash to give you, you say make I transfer to your Sporty,” Nasboi wrote.
