Senator Exposes Shocking Collaboration Between Military, Politicians, and Boko Haram

A Nigerian senator has pulled back the curtain on what many have long suspected: some members of the Nigerian military and political class are allegedly working hand-in-hand with Boko Haram insurgents.
In a viral video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by user @chude__, the senator voiced disturbing revelations about internal betrayals fueling the country’s prolonged battle with terrorism. According to him, new findings point to active collaboration between insurgents and individuals embedded within the very institutions tasked with protecting Nigeria.
“The recent resurgence of Boko Haram didn’t happen by accident,” the senator said. “Investigations have shown that certain military personnel and political leaders are colluding with terrorists. The governor of Borno even made a public remark—we must uncover what’s truly behind this.”

His statement has sent shockwaves through social media, where Nigerians have flooded the comment section with a mix of frustration, outrage, and painful resignation. For many, the senator only confirmed what they feared all along, that Nigeria’s war against terror has been compromised from within.
“Eighteen years, trillions spent, and we’re still pretending like we don’t know who’s behind this?” one user raged. “Name names or keep quiet.”
Others expressed concerns over the senator’s safety, warning that such bold statements could make him a target.
“Give it six months, and they’ll be investigating him for money laundering. That’s the pattern, they silence anyone who speaks truth,” wrote another user.
Many shared personal anecdotes, citing family members in the military who’ve faced impossible odds, ambushes, strange orders, and zero support.
“I lost a brother in the armed forces this year,” someone commented. “They’re out there risking everything while the people at the top play games.”
The senator’s claims add fuel to a growing fire: that Nigeria’s fight against Boko Haram may not only be external, it may also be rotting from within.
