“Senatore Exposé”: Students Rain Curses on Native Doctor Who Allegedly Used Classmate for Ritual in Enugu

What should have been a moment of relief after writing their WAEC exams turned into a harrowing confrontation for secondary school students in Enugu. Instead of heading home, they marched in fury to the residence of a native doctor, identified as Ezeani, who is accused of killing one of their classmates for ritual purposes.

The heartbreaking revelation was made public in a post by @ChuksEricE on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by a video showing the students, some still in uniform, gathered in front of the native doctor’s house, weeping, cursing, and demanding justice.

In the video, a man’s voice could be heard saying:

“It is confirmed that he is one of the victims the native doctor buried. The students came here to lay a curse on him and all his gang, that it will never be well with them.”

The accused, Ezeani, reportedly operated quietly within the community until suspicion mounted following a series of disappearances, including the missing student. His secrets began to unravel when one of his victims allegedly cried out from captivity, prompting local youths to raid the compound and set parts of the residence ablaze in anger.

Ezeani was later arrested while allegedly attempting to escape through a nearby border.

Public Reactions:

@sasmanic: “Those useless curses no dey work, kpai those committing the crime.”

@nedubrave: “They should shoot this man on sight.”

@Loadedbrodah: “Demolish the house. Use the land for something meaningful. Curse no go bring justice.”

@Lite2324: “These greedy people are just destroying the images of traditional religions.”

@steelz007: “The bloodshed of the innocent ones has been too much in this country Nigeria. I pray we keep seeing God’s merciful side.”

@Heiszrael: “Bring him out. Let the people decide his fate. What’s the use of just laying curses?”

@oliverstacy78: “Demolish everything. Clean the place up. It shouldn’t remain a symbol of fear for other children.”

The community remains in mourning, gripped by the horrifying reality that a trusted figure within their midst could commit such a heinous act. The call for justice continues, and many hope this will be the last of such stories, where young lives are cut short in the name of wealth rituals.
