Speed Darlington Faces Scrutiny as Teen at Centre of Hotel Room Claim Prepares Police Report
Controversial Nigerian artist Speed Darlington may soon face formal investigation, as the teenage girl allegedly involved in a hotel room incident is reportedly preparing to file an official statement with the police.
Public outrage intensified after a video surfaced in which the singer made disturbing remarks about spending time in a hotel room with a 15-year-old. Although he has since apologised and claimed the statement was made “for clout,” the backlash has not eased.
In a video posted by media personality Isaac Fayose, it was revealed that the girl, accompanied by her mother, is expected to visit a police station to formally document the incident.

“@speeddarlington victim coming to station tomorrow to write statement with her mother… Interesting days ahead… Wow what a lawless nation. May God protect our children. Akpi is going, going, gone…,” Fayose wrote.
