Stop the Lies! Adunni Ade Slams Viral Post Claiming Beauty Blocked Her Marriage

Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has come out swinging against a viral social media post claiming she lamented being single despite her looks and fame.

The buzz started after Instablog9ja posted a quote on X (formerly Twitter) suggesting the actress blamed her beauty and the attention it attracted for her unmarried status.

“I used to be the center of attention—admired, desired, and blessed with a beauty that opened doors. Yet, here I am… still unmarried,” the post read, with Adunni’s photo attached.

The quote quickly caught fire online, sparking gossip and debate.

But Adunni wasn’t having it.

She immediately fired back, publicly denying ever making such a statement. Quoting the post, she demanded that it be taken down within 24 hours or she would get her lawyers involved.

“I kindly request that you take down this post within 24 hours to prevent further action involving my legal team,” she warned. “I do not appreciate the fact that you’re using my name to peddle false news and articles with no verifiable source just to generate engagement.”

Adunni Ade, a mother of two known for keeping her personal life private, made it clear she never granted any interview or made any public statement resembling the viral quote.

Fans have rallied in her defense, urging gossip blogs to stick to facts and stop twisting celebrities’ words for clicks.
