Afrobeats sensation Davido is once again proving why he’s the people’s favourite, this time, by casually gifting N5 million to a fan, just because she tweeted about hypocrisy and needed a wig.

The drama started with a now-viral post where the fan tweeted:
“Everybody is a motherfuckin hypocrite oo.”

Davido, clearly in a good mood, and fresh off reuniting with his daughter, Imade, quoted the tweet and asked for the fan’s account details, saying he was sending N5 million for a new wig.

She dropped the digits, and in no time, the OBO boss followed through. Screenshots of the transaction quickly circulated, showing Davido’s name and the full amount transferred.

Social media erupted. Some fans hailed him as “king of soft hearts,” while others jokingly asked what kind of wig costs N5 million.
