Abuja-based lawyer, Stan Alieke, has sparked conversation online after sharing a candid Father’s Day message urging men to delay fatherhood until they are financially prepared.
In a post shared via his Instagram stories on Sunday, June 15, Alieke emphasized the importance of financial stability before taking on the responsibilities of fatherhood. He warned that societal expectations often leave broke fathers with little empathy or support.
“The world is not fair to broke men, not to talk of broke fathers,” he wrote, underscoring the harsh realities many men face when raising children without adequate resources.
