‘This Is Bigger Than Davido’ — Nasboi Speaks After Near-Death Experience
Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator, Nasboi, has broken his silence following a car accident that occurred during his daring 36-state tour to secure a music collaboration with Afrobeats star, Davido.
The skit maker, known for blending humor with advocacy, had already visited eight states, carrying placards and engaging fans across cities, all in a bold attempt to get the music icon to notice his campaign. But on one of his road stops, things took a frightening turn.
Nasboi revealed in a press statement that his vehicle was involved in an accident. Thankfully, no lives were lost. Describing the incident as “terrifying,” the entertainer said it only deepened his resolve.
“Yes, the accident happened and yes, it was terrifying. But I am alive, and for that, I am grateful,” he wrote. “This journey is no longer just about a verse from Davido. It has become a personal mission to prove that I can weather storms, face real danger, and still keep moving forward.”

The campaign, which initially started as a creative stunt, has now evolved into a story of grit and resilience. Nasboi said the near-death experience reaffirmed his purpose, noting that it’s about more than music, it’s about seeing a dream through to the end.
Despite criticism online, Nasboi says he remains undeterred. “I hope someone out there sees this and finds the courage to keep going, even when the road gets rough,” he added.
