Tinubu Meets Two Kings, Isreal DMW Shares the Difference
Isreal DMW, a close aide to Nigerian music star Davido, took to Instagram this evening to shower praises on the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty Oba Ewuare II.
In a post that has since sparked conversation online, Isreal greeted the revered monarch in a traditional Benin salutation and shared a photo collage comparing President Bola Tinubu’s demeanor during two separate royal visits, one to the Oba of Benin and the other to the Ooni of Ife.
The side-by-side images subtly highlighted a difference in posture and body language, suggesting a more deferential tone during the President’s visit to the Benin Palace.

Although Isreal did not directly comment on the comparison, his post was interpreted by many followers as an indirect commentary on the respect accorded to traditional rulers.
“Oba gha to kpere! Isee!” he wrote in reverence, echoing the popular Benin royal greeting.
