WATCH: Moment Osun State Governor Defends His Moves, Sends Clear Message to Critics

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has once again addressed critics of his well-known love for dancing, urging Nigerians to focus on his leadership rather than his lifestyle.
Speaking at a recent event, the “Dancing Governor” dismissed the notion that public dancing equates to unseriousness.
“Stop judging me just because I choose to express myself through dancing. It is my joy, my freedom, and an essential part of who I am,” he said.
Adeleke pointed out that he’s not alone in this form of expression.
“Sanwo-Olu is dancing. Everybody is dancing. Even Baba [President Tinubu] is dancing. So, there is no law that says just because you are a governor, you can’t dance.”

Known for his energetic dance moves that frequently trend online, Adeleke maintained that his performances have no bearing on his performance in office.
“If it brings me happiness and harms no one, then there is no reason it should be condemned.”
He concluded by reminding Nigerians that governance should be judged by impact, not by a governor’s rhythm.
“Judge me by my governance, not my hobbies.”
