Watch Moment TikTok Influencer Was Shot During Livestream

Tragedy hit the online beauty space on Tuesday as 23-year-old Mexican TikTok influencer, Valeria Márquez, was fatally shot while live-streaming from her workplace in Zapopan, Jalisco.
Valeria, known for her bubbly personality and captivating makeup tutorials, was interacting with her fans in what appeared to be a normal livestream session. In the now-viral video, she could be seen holding a stuffed toy, smiling, and casually responding to comments.
But the mood quickly shifted.
Valeria suddenly muted the stream and appeared visibly uncomfortable. According to local reports, she had previously mentioned feeling uneasy after someone left her an expensive gift at the salon when she wasn’t around.
Moments after muting her microphone, a round of gunshots was heard off-camera.

The stream ended abruptly when an unknown individual, whose face briefly appeared on the camera, picked up her phone.
Authorities are investigating the case as a possible feminicidio (femicide), a term used in Mexico to describe gender-based killings of women. No suspects have been named yet, and no arrests have been made as of this report.
The chilling footage has reignited nationwide outrage over the increasing violence against women in Mexico. Rights groups note that an estimated 10 women are killed daily across the country. Hashtags like #JusticiaParaValeria and #NiUnaMenos have flooded social media as fans and activists demand accountability.
Jalisco prosecutors have called on the public to provide any useful information that might lead to the arrest of Valeria’s killer.
